Falling in love is never easy, but falling in love with an immortal god while your days on earth are numbered is almost more than a young girl can bear.

Newbery Honor author Gail Carson Levine has created a stunning new world of flawed gods, unbreakable vows, and ancient omens in this spellbinding story of Kezi, a girl confronted with a terrible destiny. Attempting to thwart her fate, Kezi and her love, Olus -- the god of wind and loneliness -- embark on a series of dangerous and seemingly impossible quests.

Fairytale unlike any other
Ever is a brilliantly written story. It's a fairytale, but it's not a Disney-fied version where everyone is happy all the time and the worst that happens is that a princess falls asleep. People give up, they fail their tasks, and in Kezi's case, they only have a month to live. Olus is a God, but not in the way that you first think. He is seventeen in a world where Gods are hundreds of years old. He has no one to play with, no one who understands how he feels, and he is lonely. So when he sees Kezi, he knows at once that he must talk to her. A beautifully woven tale that proves that love really can conquer all.
